Setting up Support Work for success
Service Description
We offer therapist-supported support work designed to bridge the gap between counselling and everyday life. Our support workers are psychology-trained graduates who work under the guidance of experienced therapists, ensuring that support is consistent, informed and aligned with your therapeutic goals. This allows strategies developed in sessions to be meaningfully applied in real-world environments such as home, school and community settings. Support work may include: - implementing therapeutic strategies in daily routines - building emotional regulation and social skills - supporting independence and confidence - assisting with community access and engagement - reinforcing structure, routines and executive functioning skills Our approach is practical, relational and strengths-based. We focus on creating safe, supportive connections while helping individuals build skills that promote long-term independence and wellbeing. This service is particularly beneficial for children and young people who benefit from consistent, hands-on support, as well as families who need guidance translating therapy into everyday life.
